Who Are You?

Have you ever wondered why you have certain skills and others are skilled in other areas? Why are we all different? How can we ever fit in, if we don't ever find out who we really are? Do you believe in a Divine Creator? If you do, do you believe that He created each person for a specific purpose? If so, are you doing what you were created to do and be? If not, why?

Interesting?

How can we know what we are to do with our lives? If we are a piece of some greater puzzle, then how can we find our place? If the body of Christ is supposed to function as one, how will we ever get together?

Purpose

Following is a questionnaire that was designed to get us to think and meditate on what our purpose and destiny might be. If it is at all possible, use this questionnaire with someone else who can pray with you and give you some objective input. Remember, the Lord has a purpose and destiny planned for us. It is our God-given right to find and fulfill it. May you find yours and enjoy a life of total joy in doing the things you were created to do and be.

Guidelines

Please remember there are no right or wrong answers. This is only a guideline to help each of us bring into focus the many pieces of the puzzle that sometime swim about in our minds. Read Jeremiah 6:16-19; Habakkuk 2:2-20; Isaiah 30:15-33.

Questionnaire

• 1.   Why are you on the earth during this particular time in history and located where you are geographically?
• 2.   What natural gifts and talents flow through your life? Priestly (ministry) and Kingly (service, business or government). List them in order of most liked to least liked and state why you feel that way.
• 3.   What skills have you learned and/or developed in your life, priestly and kingly? List all of them in order of most liked to least liked and state why you feel that way.
• 4.   If the Lord has given you dreams and/or visions for your life, write them out.
• 5.   If you had all the resources available to you without limit, what would you be doing right now, and why? List the resources you would need. (What turns you on?)
• 6.   Being where you are now and no matter what you do from now on, if you can't fail in anything you do, what would you do?
• 7.   If the Lord appeared before you right now, is there any reason you couldn't do anything He asks you to do?
• 8.   Are you important? Is the world different because you wake up each morning and do what you do with each day?
• 9.   Are you precious to Father and do you know that He loves you unconditionally?
• 10.  What are the reasons for not doing what you know you have been called to do?
• 11.  What would it take for you to fulfill your destiny, the very purpose for your life here on this earth?
• 12.  Are you willing to let others into your life to help and encourage you?
• 13.  Are you willing to help others and encourage them?
• 14.  Are you willing to live your life, by the grace and power of Holy Spirit, according to the model of Acts Chapter 2?
