Pieces Of The Puzzle

I awakened at 4:00 o’clock this morning from a horrible dream. I saw someone get on a motorcycle in frustration and ride at a very high speed across a valley and then up a mountain or hill. As they got to the top I heard agonizing screams as they went straight over the cliff. Then I saw the motorcycle and the person fall down the cliff to their death. Life over! Gone in just a heartbeat! A choice was made, evidently out of frustration and it was carried out quickly. Then I awakened later and saw a vision. PIECES OF THE PUZZLE! Read the rest of this entry »

Captain Jack’s Compass

I like to watch movies, especially those with hidden meanings. Some of them remind me of the old jesters in the king’s courts. The jesters had to be careful how they portrayed things in front of the king so as not to lose their head, and yet portray a truth to the audience and king. The movie, Pirates Of The Caribbean does the same thing. One of the parts I like is the way Captain Jack’s compass works or doesn’t work according to some. Are We Equipped For The Battle

As Janiece and I were talking this morning over breakfast, I saw a vision of how to relate to others the serious differences in some church circles/fellowships. There are so many factions/divisions in the Body of Christ to say the least, but depending on who you talk to, they insist they are right and others are wrong. Many don’t even talk to one another and if the leaders of these groups get together to pray for one another, it seems to be a miracle but it should be the norm. So, I’ve been trying to find a way to share an illustration that would somehow show the importance of what these differences can do to believers at certain places in their journey as well as the new, born-again believer. ARE WE EQUIPPED FOR THE BATTLE? Read the rest of this entry »

Cornerstone To Capstone

There is so much division among many Christian churches in the world. This shouldn’t be, as we are all brothers and sisters if we are His. I’ve watched this over the years and the biggest problem that is seen by all is pride and arrogance, but then we also have to factor in fear, because that is the deep root that keeps people apart. This is a very broad subject but I only want to do a brief overview and talk about the journey from the Cornerstone to the Capstone! Read the rest of this entry »

DESTINY song by Joseph James

Do we ever stop and think about where we are going in our life? Where is that place, that goal, that finish line? Is it going to be all that we hope it is, or do we even know for sure? Are we just ambling along in life with no sense of direction? I wrote this song to address some things in my life and to share what I’ve found. DESTINY… Read the rest of this entry »

Pioneers In Our Generation

Our trip from Texas to Colorado last week was a long one indeed, 1250 miles, but I couldn’t help but think of what it would have been like a hundred or more years ago to go this route. It took single individuals sometimes years to blaze these trails and over the years some of these trails have become highways and expressways. We can travel at legal speeds of around 75+ mph where they walked and scouted for months and years. Read the rest of this entry »

Kingdom Connected Or Islands In The Sea

Are we connected to the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ or are we just islands in the sea? We can even have a lot of connections, with a lot of friends and networks, but we might still be just a bigger island in the sea. The Lord gave me a simple illustration below to help bring more understanding to what He was saying to me. This can apply to different spheres of our lives including us personally, in business or work, in group settings and even in local churches. KINGDOM CONNECTED OR ISLANDS IN THE SEA… Read the rest of this entry »

Winning Our Prize

What is the prize we are running towards? Is it the one we were destined to win? In a long race, there are markers along the way letting the runners know how far they are along in the race. But what if we think the prize is only as far as one of the markers? Will we miss getting our prize? What if someone convinces us that our race is only a half mile, when in truth our prize is at the one mile marker? If we run the fullness of our days on earth and only get half way to what we could have done, how sad! How can we know? WINNING OUR PRIZE! Read the rest of this entry »

Heaven’s Stage

My wife and I walked into Great Grace International Christian Center this morning, both of us were very tired. Not only had it been a long week, but an intense year of climbing what seemed to be an insurmountable mountain in the spirit realm. Sasha and the worship team began the first song and I was immediately caught up into a vision that seemed to last for quite a while. It was a behind-the-scenes look at Heaven’s Stage and it was huge. There was this vast room before me with the Ancient of Days on His throne in the middle… HEAVEN’S STAGE! Read the rest of this entry »

A Letter To The Church In…

I’ve been meditating on two chapters of scripture for quite some time now. On August 16, 2011, one year ago, the Lord gave me a word to the church in San Antonio, Texas. After I had written everything down, I wondered, now what do I do with it. Of course, the answer was to post it to the blog. I thought, ‘How will all of Your people know?’ Some will find it through web searches and others, I don’t know. I was just obedient. I even wondered if it were just a test for me. This brings me to the question, “If John were alive today and on the Isle of Patmos and if Jesus told him to send a letter to a certain city, who would hear about it and who would read it?” Revelation 2 & 3. Have you ever wondered about this? A LETTER TO THE CHURCH IN… Read the rest of this entry »

Walking The Middle Road

There are many extremes in our generation today. Look at some of the reality shows and one can see this really quick. There are also extremes in Christianity. I have watched over the years as leaders received new revelations from the Lord and quickly went to the extreme with them. It became the “in thing” and if you weren’t in on it, then you were shunned or looked down upon. This is happening even more now, but it shouldn’t be. I’ve looked back over my own life and have seen times where I did this too. I remember a time when everything was either black or white. It was either a truth or a lie, but where was grace, mercy and love? WALKING THE MIDDLE ROAD Read the rest of this entry »

His Building, His Kingdom, Our Generation

Lines are being drawn in the sand… Many choices are being made… Some are following a crowd, some their own emotions, hurts and fears… Who will step out from the shadows and walk side by side with each other on not only a local level but globally, holding on loosely if necessary, until that which is still somewhat cloudy can be made clear? Can’t go forward looking in the rear view mirror! Break it if we must! The past is gone! Today is a new day! 40 years in the desert had it’s purpose, death and one generation wasted away. Will we honor the King in our generation? Will we simply obey? No excuses… HIS BUILDING, HIS KINGDOM, OUR GENERATION! Read the rest of this entry »

Changing Course

Awakened this morning and heard the words, “Changing Course” and wondered what it meant. We have been going through a time of transition anyway in our lives, so we knew there was a change of course coming, but what did this mean today. We’ve recently moved and have been throwing out some of the old things to prepare for the new, so just what did He mean. CHANGING COURSE! Read the rest of this entry »

Open Doors

What are open doors? Of course, you need an open door to get a lot of things accomplished in your life. If we are going to do any shopping, we need the doors of the store to be open so that we can go in and purchase what we need or want. We also need to have open doors in areas of business and employment. But did you know that each one of us are a door? Did you know that there are also doors in heaven? There are many kinds of doors, some are closed and some are open. How do they affect our lives? OPEN DOORS! Read the rest of this entry »

To The Church In San Antonio

August 16, 2011 – In and out of my sleep this morning, the Lord wrestled with me about San Antonio, Texas. Scriptures kept coming to my mind and I thought, why are You sharing this all with me. This is the only dream I remembered repeatedly as I awakened time and again after I had gone back to sleep. It reminded me of the Apostle John in Revelation chapters 2 & 3. Here is how it went. Decide for yourself if it was Him, as for me I am still asking and heeding the warning personally. TO THE CHURCH IN SAN ANTONIO! Read the rest of this entry »
