Do you take yourself too seriously? Do you have to be right in everything you do? Are you stressed all the time? Are you at rest in who you are? Is life passing you by and you feel like you are on the sidelines? Laugh! Scripture says that the Lord sits in heaven and laughs at our enemies. What does this have to do with you? Everything! Reality? Whose Reality? What does it have to do with me? Everything! This word really gets my attention and even more so here lately. We hear all kinds of stories on the news everyday and we know that they can’t all be true. I understand that there are those who promote lies to further their own cause, but for the sake of this post I am not including these. REALITY… Read the rest of this entry »

Christians Are Weird?

Ok, I just had to write about this topic. Someone said it yesterday and I thought, ‘Yes, they’re right, in a sense.’ About three o’clock this morning I was awake in bed for the next few hours thinking about that and saw a story that might shed some light on the subject. Are Christians really weird? Or are there things in nature that might be able to tell the story better than an explanation? CHRISTIANS ARE WEIRD… Read the rest of this entry »

The word peace is a complex word to say the least. One can check out the definition in the Merriam Webster Dictionary for the different meanings of peace. The meaning that I would like to discuss is the one we find in the passage in Luke 4:35, PEACE… Read the rest of this entry »

Side by Side

Walking side by side means simply that. Why do people in general want to be on top or over someone else? I believe it generally has to do with wounds. A whole and healed person is secure and doesn’t have to put up these defenses. Wounded people always do. SIDE BY SIDE… Read the rest of this entry »

Another Day In Court

The woman approached the ancient courtroom after having stood in line for a very long time. The line was still behind her as far as the eye could see. As she waited for her case to be heard, she was able to listen in on the one before her. The court was called to order and the man ahead of her was asked to stand before the Judge. The Judge called the meeting to order and then had the charges read. ANOTHER DAY IN COURT… Read the rest of this entry »

Business & Ministry

Business and ministry together, what a thought. But I’ve always heard that business is business and you can’t run a business and ministry together. Why not? Why is business allowed to deal according to the standards of the world system and not the standards of scripture? Why must one keep ministry out of business? It’s because of the lies of the enemy. BUSINESS & MINISTRY… Read the rest of this entry »

Answers – Part 2

Part 2 – Now that we have decided to do something about it, what do we do? For some of us this has been going on for years and that little flower is under a mess of stuff and those walls are like the great wall of China, however, there is hope. This is a good place to be. We have the chance to start over again. ANSWERS – PART 2 Read the rest of this entry »

Not Enough Time

Have you every felt like the whole world is crashing in on you? There isn’t enough time to do everything. Have you made more commitments than can possibly fulfill? Our economy is built upon impulse buying. Advertisers know this and are good at it. Most people, if given the time to make a good decision, wouldn’t buy a lot of the things they do. This also applies to the groups and programs we join. Why do we do it? NOT ENOUGH TIME… Read the rest of this entry »

Holding On To Your Faith – Or Someone Else’s

The way I have written two of my books has been very interesting. I’d like to map it all out and then fill in the gaps with writing, but that’s not the way it happened. For each paragraph I wrote, I would have to wait on what came next. I didn’t know the outcome of the story or even how to get there. Of course, writing a book this way really makes it exciting to me. I get just as excited about what comes next as I know the readers will also. But, what if it doesn’t go anywhere? What if the ending doesn’t make sense? What will others think? HOLDING ON TO YOUR FAITH – OR SOMEONE ELSE’S… Read the rest of this entry »

Armor of God

There is a lot of talk and discussion of putting on the armor of God. I will try to explain this in a more simplistic way. There are a lot of people who say you must put on this armor of God daily, however, scripture does not say this. Once you have it on, don’t take it off. Be clothed in Christ which is the armor of God. Ephesians 6:(10-18) Read the rest of this entry »

An Unpopular Trail

Sometimes Life leads you down a path that is unpopular with the crowd. Oh, you can try to blend in with your friends, but you know you just don’t fit. What seems right for them to do is not the right thing for you. Sometimes you even stay awake late into the night after the party, thinking, all alone. “If I could just fit in…” An Unpopular Trail Read the rest of this entry »

Islands In The Sea: The Lions Roars – Book 2

From what seems like a rocket ride of a writing adventure, Book 2 of the Islands In The Sea book series is written and published on the Kindle. The target availability in print is February 11, 2013. In 28 short days, not including every day, I wrote the whole story from start to finish and had it published on the Kindle in 39. Just like Book 1, I wrote the visions and revelations as they came in the continuation of this romantic, adventurous, supernatural, and prophetic story. I already know the title for Book 3 and will be writing it as soon as I can get to it. The title of Book 3 will be, “Islands In The Sea: A City On A Hill.” I think I’m looking more forward to reading it as I write, rather than writing. Both books have been an adventure to me in discovering more of the Lord’s wonderful Kingdom. I hope it touches your life in such a wonderful way too. Islands In The Sea! Read the rest of this entry »
