Which path does one choose?
The journey begins at the bottom center where one sees a sign that reads, "Stand at the crossroads and look, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls." But what does this mean? Aren't there a lot of paths in life? What do you mean only two? How do you know?
What is the truth?
What do you mean truth? Everyone has their own beliefs? While that may be true, only the truth will prevail in the end. Then everything will be revealed. But how can I know the truth? These are common questions that must be answered by everyone. Some will make a choice by choosing not to make a choice, but that in itself is a choice. Others will busy themselves with projects, work, pleasure, games and noise so they are never alone and quiet enough to really examine the answers to the questions they struggle with day in and out. Loneliness and quietness are enemies to these people. This is where fear has its hold.
So what does one do?
Check it out, of course. Every path has an ending. If you do certain things with your life, you are almost guaranteed a particular ending, that is if you live long enough to see it. What does it hurt to do a little exploring? It might not be as bad as you expect and it could be better than you could ever imagine?
What about so–and–so?
What about them? Everyone has to answer for their own lives. But they are the reason I am like I am. Oh really! Are you sure, or is it really the truth that you are the way you are because of how you have responded to each situation and person in your life? Who cares? You do of course or you wouldn't be having this struggle. Are you curious or angry?
What if there is something to this?
Can you keep an open mind? What do you have to lose, but maybe a little time? What do you have to gain except possibly something that might transform your life for good.
What is your purpose in this life?
Do you really want to know? Do you really care? Could there possibly be something more to this life than what you have experienced? Is there a hole in your heart that can't be filled no matter how desperately you have tried. Are you really so far down that there is no way up or could it be that you are so high up that you are afraid to take a chance?
