This is one of the saddest days of the year for me. The celebrations that go on tonight are no joke and yet too many people celebrate with no thought of the consequences. I am not even talking about the human sacrifices and tortures that will happen this night. Rather, I am talking about all of the children and some adults who will encounter a serious dose of fear tonight. Some will be overcome with it and over the next days, months and years will give in to an ever increasing amount until they become paralyzed, some even to the extent that they are afraid to even leave their home. Have you ever thought about the scripture, we are not under law, but under grace? It has been said that the law is black and white. I believe the colors of grace are like the colors of the rainbow. They are so bright and so vivid. They make each day also seem brighter and full of joy. The Lord lavishes us with His grace as He sees fit.
