What is the measure of success? How do you know if you are successful or not? There is more than one standard of measurement. There is the world’s standard of success, the things the world says we must do. There are others standards of success, you know the things others think you should be doing. Then there is our standard of success for our own lives, this is usually based on our dreams of the things we want in life. And then, most important of all, there is the Lord’s standard for success. Which one do we live by? Measure of Success!

What do you mean by know who you are? Simply this. We must know how the Lord sees us and who we are in Him. Do you know who you are with your parents? Do you know when they will fight for you and protect you? Do you know how they will back you as you try new things? This is how it is with the Lord also, yet to a much deeper degree. Know Who You Are In Him!

What do you do after you are rejected again and again? How do you pick up the pieces and continue on? “It must be me or that wouldn’t happen so many times.” This is not true. There are many factors that come into play with relationships. It isn’t that cut and dry. Rejected and Torn!

What are hurtful and destructive prayers? These are the types that are used to control people and circumstances. These are prayers and spoken words against scripture and they bring a lot of confusion, stress and destruction where there should be a lot of healing and encouragement. These are the types of things that are called friendly fire. Soldiers on the field in battle know the dangers of friendly fire. Destructive Prayers!

What are the judgments of God? How do they affect us? Why does He do it and what does it mean to us? As I pondered on this subject, Hurricane Gustav had just crossed Cuba and was a Category 4 hurricane. What was going to happen and was this going to be judgment time? Judgments of God!
