What is true freedom? How does religion play into it? Are we still in bondage to sin, or can we be free from sin and the rules and regulations taught by religion? Can we truly live in the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ and overcome all the works of the flesh and the enemy of our soul? Absolutely! True Freedom! Read the rest of this entry »

Suicide! You never expect it to hit close, but it can at any moment. Around 9:30 in the morning a few days ago I saw the word suicide super-imposed over another word as I was reading and immediately began praying. An hour and a half later I received word to pray for a family of a friend’s niece because the husband had just committed suicide and left behind a wife and two small children, age seven and an infant. Especially in these economic times, we need to be praying and watching for the signs. Suicide can only be successful with the onslaught of a demonic attack. There are warning signs. It leaves behind guilt, abandonment, rejection and the like. Encourage each other all the more and don’t take anything for granted. Better to err on the side of safety than to experience a tragedy. Suicide Signs! Read the rest of this entry »

Peace – What an offensive weapon to use in our lives! Jesus would simply command to the situation whether it be a demon speaking in His face or the storm thrashing about, “Peace, be still!” and it was so. It is also found in Ephesians 6 as the shoes of the gospel of peace and also in Romans 16: 19, 20, “I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil. The God of PEACE will soon CRUSH Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.” Weapon Of Peace! Read the rest of this entry »

Are we living on the F.A.R.M. or walking in G.R.A.C.E.? Are we making a difference in the world or are we just a casualty in the ditch? How can we rise above the things that keep us down and overcome? These are acronyms and they are exact opposites. I grew up on a farm and this is not what I am talking about. F.A.R.M. speaks of camping out in fear, while G.R.A.C.E. actually represents walking in the fullness of the love of God. Where are you? FARM or GRACE? Read the rest of this entry »

I spent most of this morning, from 1am on, in and out of sleep talking to Holy Spirit about this loneliness I’ve been feeling. Actually, I think He was discussing it with me. I remember over the years being lonely in the midst of a crowd, even when that crowd was my friends. Why? How could this be? Everyone else seemed to be having fun, but here I was in a different place. Lonely In A Crowd! Read the rest of this entry »

- My child, did you see my painting in the morning sky?
- It was just for you and I added a special touch.
- Did you listen to my birds as they sang their songs of love?
- Just wanted you to know, with joy, I’m singing over you.
- Did you notice how My breath gently moved the leaves?
- I wanted to touch your hair with the gentleness of My hands.
- I know that you are busy and have so many things to do,
- Yet, I know you’re lonely and I would like to comfort you. Read the rest of this entry »

A man, Pete, had a global business he built from the ground up. Soon his son was old enough to help him and the man put him in charge as the president of the company. His dad had implemented detailed guidlines on how each position of the company would operate and this kept everything functioning extremely well. There was a list of rules and regulations for everything. Read the rest of this entry »

This is my story, or at least a part of it. My dad abandoned us when I was three after he threatened my mom with a gun. I have had stepdads over the years, but I could not overcome the abandonment issue. It was hard to trust the Lord that He wasn’t going to do the same. Have you ever felt that way? Did someone walk out on you? Maybe even a marriage partner? Abandoned! Read the rest of this entry »

What does the rapture have to do with the Kingdom? Are they part of the same thing or are they contradictory? How does one know what to believe? If we are all caught up on leaving the planet, how can we fulfill other scriptures? What a mind boggling twist and it has many believers struggling to walk daily in the victory Jesus paid the ultimate price to gain. Kingdom & Rapture! Read the rest of this entry »

We, as mankind tend to focus too much on ourselves. Sometimes we are lonely. We can even be in a crowd of people and still be lonely. I know, because that has been me. People are all around us, but they can’t hear our heart. Oh, there is a lot of talk, but it is just surface stuff and it doesn’t mean anything when we are in a needful place and reaching out for help. Is God Lonely? Read the rest of this entry »
